Greetings and welcome!This blog is a platform to share my experiences, ideas and comments being an urban (and two-spirit) Indian living and working in NYC. For the past 15 years, I have been living in New York. I am a registered member of Cree Nation. My reservation is located in northeastern Alberta, Canada. (the pic is not me - it is Terrance Houle, Urban Indian, 2004).
Few people know that a majority of Native People live in urban settings, almost 70% of us, and not reservations and even fewer people know that NYC is the home to the largest popualtion of urban Indians living in a US city.
